    All the Quicken data file extension for Windows, MAC, and DOS are files which contain transactions, account balances, portfolios and other information.

    For instance, QDF (primary file) also known as a financial data format is a Quicken file extension that can be used for personal financial reasons. It is affixed with .qdf extension and the directory of these files are: C:\Users\[User Name]\My Documents\Quicken\.The software that is used to Open the .QDF File is Intuit Quicken 2013

    The Versions that don’t support this extension file are:

    1.) Quicken 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014

    2.) Quicken 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009

    Another example for an Extension file is the QPH File.

    QPH stands for Quicken Price History. It’s extension is denoted by the code .qph. QPH keeps all the financial record entered or downloaded into your Quicken account for future investments. These files also contain the history of stock prices.

    The application that is used to open a .QPH File is:

    1.) Intuit Quicken 2013
